About The Background Sounds
The Background Sounds
The Background Sounds are a Glasgow based quintet of thoroughly disrespectful swing-loving fools. Their unapologetic genius combinations of vintage jazz and perfect pop mash-ups is surprising, uplifting and as energetic as a wild night out on tequila. Winning over non-jazz crowds with every gig, they’ve been described as ‘the hottest swing/pop mash-up band'.
