About Bach Jazz

Bach and jazz. Two incredibly well-known concepts. Yet a new, strangely organic entity emerges when Bach Jazz combine them. Inspired as much by Swedish piano master Jan Johansson and George Harrison as Miles Davis and Nils Frahm, the trio has developed a strikingly personal tone on the debut album. Evocative, human, playful and close. Åke Linton, internationally acclaimed for his many years with E.S.T. is the master behind the engaging sound. Perhaps the journey towards Bach Jazz began already in the 90s with a teenager's unexpected CD bargain in the local radio shop: "Bach Greatest Hits". Or at a pipe organ lesson in 2013 and a sudden impulse to try to combine two favorite musical phenomena. Since the group began working together in the spring of 2022, their concerts have enticed strong audience enthusiasm in their native Sweden.
Bach Jazz is:
Emil Carlsson Rinstad - Piano
Magnus Bergström - Double Bass
Ola Winkler - Drums
Label: Jazz by Bolero
Show More
Genres:
Jazz, Pop, Classical
Hometown:
Gothenburg, Sweden
