The Pause

Since their birth from a Craigslist ad early this year, The Pause have been hot on the New Orleans rock scene. Members August Dixon (bass), Colin James (guitar, vocals), Brock Orrett (drums), and Jordan Palka (guitar, vocals) found instant chemistry over their shared influences—Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, The White Stripes, and The Beatles—and got to work creating original garage rock bangers. Gaining momentum with underground shows and an iconic bathtub interview with Julie Elody, The Pause needed to take the next steps to share their message and recorded "Our Best One Yet!", their debut EP.
