The Dialogue is a dynamic, original Florida-based band that seamlessly blends a broad spectrum of musical influences into a captivating and distinctive sound. Fronted by the multi-talented duo of Angela Galestro and Paul Cuevas, The Dialogue fuses elements of rock, blues, salsa, classical, folk, pop, jazz, and classic rock into a rich musical tapestry that defies easy categorization and creates a unique auditory experience.

Angela Galestro, the band’s lead singer, songwriter, keyboardist, and flutist from Sarasota, brings profound emotional depth and musical virtuosity to the group. Her powerful vocals and effortless piano work are central to The Dialogue's sound. Paul Cuevas, based in Orlando, shares lead vocals and songwriting duties while also contributing on keyboard and rhythm guitar. Together, Angela and Paul’s harmonies create an enchanting and emotionally charged blend, delivering lyrics that are rich in metaphor and poetic resonance.

The Dialogue originated from Angela and Paul’s enduring decades-long friendship, a creative partnership that has proven to be a fertile ground for their collaborative creativity. Their eclectic songwriting process often emerges from spontaneous jams or deeply shared emotional currents. This creative synergy is prominently showcased in their debut album, “Begin Again.”

The band’s lineup is completed by Jonathan Smith on lead guitar, whose soaring solos add both intensity and excitement; Aaron Nix on percussion, whose intricate rhythms drive the band’s dynamic sound and energy; and Cameron Kayne on bass, whose solid grooves and virtuosity provide a robust foundation for the band’s expansive sonic landscape.

Each member of The Dialogue boasts a strong academic background in music, with extensive training and multiple degrees in classical and jazz studies. Angela and Jonathan both earned a Doctorate of Musical Arts, Cameron was the principal bassist with the Airmen of Note, Aaron Nix completed his Master’s and Artist Diploma in percussion, and Paul studied composition. Despite their formal training, The Dialogue transcends traditional boundaries with their boundless creativity and deep, dynamic musical relationship that infuses every song with vitality and personality.

With their second album on the horizon, The Dialogue is quickly establishing itself as one of the most exciting and, so far, undiscovered acts in America.
