About Left Iris
Left Iris are an exciting new Irish/Spanish trio formed in Dublin in late 2023. Drawing from an array of genres, they create a blend of Pop music inspired by Shoegaze, Alternative rock and Electronica. The results are singable, melodic tunes wrapped in layers of guitars, harmonies and synthesisers.
The trio have featured on The Thin Air and Goldenplec as well as enjoying airplay on RTÉ 2FM, 2XM, Today FM and UK radio stations Alt Music Radio and Overview Radio.
February saw the release of Electronic laden single ‘Synthia’, with shows in Anseo, Sin é and The Loft Galway to support. More recently Left Iris dropped the Dreampop ear-worm ‘Always’, in late June, their most popular release to date.
Summertime has seen a plethora of shows in Dublin, Cork and Galway with new single ‘Always’ gaining more and more traction. Their biggest show to date in a packed out Workman’s Cellar on July 4th was a roaring success, with the band already gearing up for their next single release and headline shows around Ireland and the UK planned for late 2024
‘They remind me of Vinyl Williams, whose music I love. Those woozy synths and the chord progressions are spot on’ - The Thin Air
