Meet Lanie Laynz, the Australian songwriter, hair dye enthusiast, and AuDHD parent of an insanely busy multi neurodivergent family of 5.
Between the everyday juggle that is life Lanie got back into songwriting during pandemic lock downs to help her cope with the reduced supports access for herself after baby 3 coming into 2020. Music is her holy grail of self-soothing and emotional regulation support, and it was in this time exploring writing challenges and silly little ditties she'd share in app communities that she ended up reconnecting to her musical roots she had previously tried to shove down to morph into what others wanted her to be musically, so she ended that project, and came back to where her passion lies and she feels more connected to her processing and emotional vulnerability as an artist.
