TAIGA

TAIGA is an electronic duo from Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang, who fuse traditional sound with modern technique into a new form of psychedelic nomadic music.Deeply rooted in Mongolian musical heritage, they combine khoomei, percussion and stringed instruments including horse-head fiddle, doshpuluur and guitar, alongside electronic influences from dub, progressive, trance and electronic dance music.Deep frequencies, sonic layering and bass heavy rhythms are the core ingredients of their sound.
Since moving to the party-hard city of Chengdu in 2019, TAIGA has evolved from a folk band into a late-night club wildcard — impressing crowds with their unique, multi-instrumental live show and developing a large and diverse fanbase.
