About Signe Dø
Signe Dø released her debut album "Gi Meg Månen" (Give Me The Moon) on February 9th, through Koke Plate (Jouska, Ea Othilde). The album received a 6/6 rating by GAFFA and favorable single reviews from Dagsavisen, Subjekt, VG, Natt&Dag and Analogue Trash, with music video publications on Ballade Video.
Dagsavisen named the album “a melodic plummeting into an art-pop material that takes both courage and audacity to master,” while Norwegian indie record store Big Dipper said "If you're bringing home one indietronica album this week, it should be hers. It sounds gigantic. She sounds like three times as many as there are in KORK."
Signe Dø navigates the realms of pop and electroacoustic music; through captivating vocal melodies, atmospheric interludes and noisy, electronic elements of processed clarinet and field recordings. Drawing comparisons to the likes of Susanne Sundfør, Portishead and FKA Twigs, she creates an expansive soundscape that feels at once raw and majestic.
