Left Cassette

Left Cassette are a 4-piece Indie Rock / Brit-Pop band hailing from Brisbane, Australia. Lead singer Josh Aldred found his musical soulmate in guitarist Trent Lord shortly after making the move from Liverpool, UK to Brisbane Australia. In 2015 Josh was playing a show that Trent was sound Engineering, the pair bonded over their shared love for early 2000s guitar music and knew one day they wanted to bring their talents together to create something. Fast forward to 2024 where Tom Bendixen (Bass) and Hunter Smith (Drums) joined forces and Left Cassette were born.
With influences ranging from the iconic sounds of The Strokes and Oasis to the electrifying energy of The Wombats and Bloc Party, Left Cassette delivers a unique blend of nostalgia and modern flair. Their debut show, a sold-out headliner at Tomcat in March, marked the beginning of what promises to be an explosive journey in the music scene.
