About The Ken Scotts
The Ken Scotts are an alternative/indie rock band formed by guitarist/vocalist Jude Reyes, guitarist Christian Bush, keyboardist Miles Rankins, and saxophonist Michael Fauchard. They knew each other from playing in various Sacramento, CA bands. Christian and Branden are also members of punk band Playground Insults. The five musicians decided to form a band together after jamming at a college party in February of 2024. They solidified their first lineup with the addition of drummer Xander Faris-Higa, who knew Branden from playing in their high school's music club. They also played on Viva's studio album, As Long as I Can.
The Ken Scotts established themselves with their first single More Than You Know, which features Jude on vocals, guitar, and drum machine, Miles on keyboard, and Branden on bass. They draw inspiration from experimental bands such as King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and have plans to build a discography that explores several genres. Their first studio album will include a version of More Than You Know that includes all members of their several-person lineup along with other songs that have a unique take on the sound that More Than You Know masterfully executes.
