In the musical landscape of 2023, a striking new force emerged from the east of the Netherlands, known as ILÆNDER. This innovative alternative metal band was born out of a shared passion for music and a desire to blend the sonic sounds of Deftones with the heavy, low-tuned riffs reminiscent of the Nu-Metal era. Founded in 2023, ILÆNDER quickly carved its own niche in the world of alternative metal with their unique sound and unbridled creativity.

ILÆNDER was brought to life by five talented musicians, each with their own distinctive background and influences. The founding members include: Martin Duve (Ten Times A Million), Stijn Strotmann(Grown Cold), Karel Lenferink, Michiel Toenink and Oscar Persijn (All three of them in No Gods, No Masters).
