What do you get when you throw a handful of 70s, 80s, 90s and twist of 2000s style and sound into a blender? You get a heavy riff rocking, groove-oriented band with hard bluesy guitars, raw scratchy vocals, thunderous drums and bass. Described as “If John Mayer Trio and Stone Temple Pilots had a child, it would be the Pete Kyrie Band”. Original music that is a perfect combination of melodic songs, with an edgy vibe together that sound both familiar and new at the same time.

The Pete Kyrie Band brings a fresh, soulful energy to blues rock, blending powerful guitar riffs, heartfelt lyrics, and dynamic rhythms that captivate audiences.

Led by Pete Kyrie, a talented and passionate Canadian blues rock guitarist and vocalist with a deep reverence for modern blues and rock influences who in a past life use to tour extensively in the late 90s as the guitarist for the infamous post grunge rock band, Sins of Omission.

Throughout the years, the Toronto born Kyrie, has shared the stage with, as well as played with several well-known artists such as Collective Soul, Seven Mary Three, The Four Horsemen, My Darkest Days, and I Mother Earth.

Just a few years ago the future of Pete's music career was in question though, as he was left with scar tissue on his throat from the extensive shows of his past. "I became very frustrated and depressed when trying to sing that i didn't want to do it. I didn't even want to play guitar as it only reminded me of what I couldn't do anymore and ended with frustration. A beautiful ugly spiral of self doubt and disbelief in myself and my ability".

After surgery and years of Vocal Therapy, Pete has returned to the scene and is back to claim his spot as a top tier talented and entertaining singer/guitarist, ready to rock and influence a new generation of rock and rollers.

Completing the line up of this powerful trio are two other very talented members, Mike Small (Meligrove Band, By Divine Right, The Waking Eyes, Loviet) on Bass/Vocals and Phil Veiga on Drums/Vocals.

Mike Small brings with him some heavy international touring experience in the 2000’s as a member of both the Meligrove Band and By Divine Right and briefly touring as bass player for The Waking Eyes. He has recorded with several bands such as Overnight, Bankruptcy, Elliott Brood and MAX as well as played live for Rich Aucoin, Kellie Loder, Thomas D’Arcy and Loviet.

Phil Veiga Hailing from Brazil, Phil embarked on his musical journey at the age of 14, touring with blues bands. His distinctive playing style seamlessly blends the groove of John Bohman with the swing of a big band jazz. Phil's musical journey has taken him from his hometown band, Little Rock, to tours with renowned groups like Big River Blues and Bad Blues, both based in Toronto.
