About The Bliss
Hailing from South Manchester, The Bliss are a young, energetic 4-piece on the rise. They were formed in 2023 and most notably sold out a headline show at 200-cap venue Fusion in their local town Altrincham. Since then, they released debut single Without You in February - a jangly, guitar-infused track with a painfully inviting chorus hook: “Will I say yes? Will I say no? Will I say what I have to say before I go? Without you, my mind’s not right…”
The band’s hardcore awaited a follow up track, and for those searching for a bouncier, more electrifying single, The Bliss delivered, releasing to the world Balloons, which was accredited as “single of the year” by iconic music magazine RGM in an online review. Featuring scratchy rhythm guitar and throaty vocals, as well as atmospheric lead guitar above descending basslines, Balloons truly encapsulates the energy The Bliss bring to their live performances, which are getting more frequent and onto bigger stages as the days pass.
Taking inspiration from indie giants such as The Strokes and Sam Fender as well as risers including The K's and The Royston Club, The Bliss’ infectious tone and personality is all too inviting to an indie fan in search of new music for their playlist.
