bloom effect

bloom effect is a Vancouver, BC–based shoegaze/dream-pop band blending shimmering guitars, ethereal vocals, and driving rhythms. Shaped by both Latin American rock and British alternative influences, their sound balances atmospheric textures with melodic intensity. Their debut EP, portents, earned airplay on KEXP and DKFM, while their 2025 release, oscilón, via Kingfisher Bluez, expanded their cosmic, euphoric sound. Following their first East Coast tour across Ontario and Quebec in 2025, the band made their European debut in 2026, continuing to establish themselves as one of Canada's most compelling new voices in shoegaze.
