Creature & Machine

Described as a "luxurious and cinematic", "sinister, eerie, addictive" and “luminous" sound, Creature & Machine is the solo project of singer, poet, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Lilly Neubauer. Landing somewhere between Kate Bush, Billie Eilish and Imogen Heap, expect lush choral harmonies layered over intricate dance beats, interwoven with moments of spoken-word storytelling and moving, orchestral climaxes.

Following from the success of her first EP of 2024, Mind Games, described as "very impactful [...] full of emotion and absolutely magical subtleties" (Phonograph Me) which gathered 10,000+ plays on Spotify and led to an upcoming headline show at Love Shack in East London (30th May), Creature & Machine is back with the deeply personal and captivating new EP, A Delicate Power, exploring themes of female power, coming to terms with anger, and befriending oneself. With a release date of 30th May, it’s already gathering attention from local radio such as Blue Soup (Nottingham).
