Dead Rodeo

The forefront of the Inner Southern music Scene. Building upon the epic foundations of our St Kilda junkie forefathers. A cruelly-rolled cigarette is lit. Faintly capturing an undertaker sprawled about the stage, forcing a microphone toward his head. Guitars swell and scream a gunfighter’s ballad. Galloping drums bridle a trembling crowd, and the mean jazzman’s rumble consumes their soul. The Rodeo has Died - Morricone has faced a most wicked auto-da-fe, and an enamoured crowd sizzle ‘neath the fiery vault of a Grand Ole Opry. Hailing from St. Kilda, Melbourne/Naarm, roused by the sounds of western cinema to a livin’ on dog food era; four-piece Dead Rodeo see to it audiences are stirred by their unique take on gothic country/western, punk/rock’n’roll.

Consisting of Vocalist Marven Lim (also of Better Than Sex), Guitarist Taj Robertson, Bassist Jake Sachs and Percussionist Matthew Ryan.
