Quarteto Arabesco

Quarteto Arabesco is a pioneering Portuguese string quartet. It has an original approach of varied repertoire, having available a wide range of concert proposals. On period instruments, it is devoted to historically informed interpretations of Baroque and Classical music. On modern instruments, it covers a varied repertoire of Portuguese music of the 20th and 21st Centuries, from fado and jazz to contemporary music. Since its premiere in 2006, has performed more than 100 concerts in important music festivals and concert halls, as well as for the radio and various recordings. Its work has had recognition of numerous people who are a reference in the musical world.
