Been dying to see Colm, and he did not disappoint, even sick with a chest infection he was amazing. Charisma galore in that man!
Could have listened to him for another hour or two easily!

Colm was such a funny and welcoming energy during his set. He brought out some of his own songs and some of the greatest (and some of my favourite) classic Irish songs which was amazing. Colm and The Longest Johns did such great work together, making the whole concert an awesomely memorable experience. I hope he comes back here soon!

About Colm R. McGuinness
Originally hailing from the vibrant musical melting pot of Dublin, Ireland, Colm R. McGuinness is a multi-talented singer, performer, instrumentalist, composer, producer and content creator.
Having grown-up as a violinist and guitarist, Colm’s natural affinity for music has seen him evolve into a self-sufficient producer, traversing genres such as traditional Irish folk, Nordic metal, historic sea shanties and contemporary rock, whilst adding a plethora of instruments into his creative arsenal, not to mention an incredibly broad vocal range.
Since relocating to Los Angeles in the early 2020’s, McGuinness has self-released a number of LPs, including his latest effort, ‘The Colm Before The Storm’ (2023), which features collaborations with fellow shanty artists Staton Watkins, Seán Dagher and Nils Brown.
Aside from producing viral covers (his version of Hoist The Colours from Pirates of The Caribbean has amassed in excess of 27 million YouTube views), Colm’s output has since branched into scoring soundtracks for original fantasy D&D web series’ such as Critical Role and Candela Obscura.
