Local Kin is an Idaho-born Stomp and Holler folk band now based in Salt Lake, who recently won Provo's biggest Battle of the Bands competition. Their sound has been described as music that "makes you want to run through a field. not in a fairytale, frolicking kind of way, but in a roll up your jeans and jump in all of the mud puddles kind of way."
