Caviar & Grits

Caviar & Grits is a 5-piece original soul/R&B band from Binghamton, NY. The band was born in the fall of 2019, when the stars aligned and the some of the area’s raddest and most experienced musicians found each other in the local open-mic scene. Caviar & Grits’ sound is reminiscent of Amy Winehouse, Lake Street Dive, and Sammy Rae & The Friends. Captivating and energetic, the members of the band have a genuine connection onstage that invites audience members to be part of the experience. Songwriter Michaela Clark leads the way with her sultry, expressive voice and acoustic guitar, joined by Tyson Alson (Metrognome) on keys, Joe Kollar (Driftwood) on guitar, Jim Lomonaco (Yolk) on bass, and Moses Valle (Kid Bess & the Magic Ring) on drums.
