About MIKHAIL (BAND)

The band began in 2004 as a creative outlet for Mijail Salazar. The first demo was recorded around this time centered upon the foundation of classical and baroque upbringing. The influence of extreme metal would serve as the second part of the formula that would complete the sound the band would begin to utilize it to form it's own identity. Mijail began the band as Keyboard player but would later adopt the guitar and all vocal duties. On Occassion, filling in on drums.
There were years of revolving doors of musicians that came and went. It was not until the band felt confident enough to release their debut that the band would make a mark on the world. Nearly a decade after forming the band would self release, Ich Hatte Viel Bekümmernis on the 19th December of 2013.

In 2015, the band would welcome Timothy to the fold, joining the band as Keyboard player.

In 2018, the band was poised to release, The Abolishment of Creation. Entirely, a different approach to their music and heavily emphasizing the bands influences from all sides of the extreme metal genre's. It was also dedicated to the memory of Steve Rosenzweig, a dear friend of Mijail's.

The following year the band would go on their first mini tour and play a festival in South Carolina.
During the period of the pandemic the band would have members leave but not before releasing Aegri Somnia in February.

Since that time, the band has released 2 singles. Alegria por la Vida in 2022 and Inevitable in 2023.

The band is set to make their return with new members and embarking on tour later in 2024.
