Ed Blunt

Hailed by Rolling Stone for his “astonishing mastery of his craft,” Ed Blunt is a multi-instrumentalist storyteller whose songs can make you laugh one moment and gently break your heart the next.

Drawing comparisons to James Taylor, Paul Simon and The Divine Comedy, Ed blends folk, jazz and roots with a dry, self-deprecating wit and a gift for turning everyday moments into quietly profound songs. His work has received BBC radio support and critical praise for its lyrical depth and melodic craft.

An accomplished live performer, Ed has toured extensively across the UK and Europe, appearing at festivals including Black Deer, FolkEast and Manchester Folk Festival, and supporting acclaimed artists such as David Ford, Reg Meuross and Annie Dressner.

His live shows are intimate, story-led evenings full of humour, honesty and musicianship — the kind of night that feels like catching up with an old friend.

Described by Chris Difford of Squeeze as “a quiet genius,” Ed’s unguarded warmth and storytelling have earned him a devoted following, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of his listeners.
