About Slumbering Sun

Slumbering Sun was founded in the ashes of old dreams. James Clarke (Monte Luna) & Keegan Kjeldsen (Destroyer of Light) joined together to create a new project, and recruited Kelsey Wilson (Temptress), Garth Condit (Enforcer), and Penny Turner (Destroyer of Light). They recorded The Ever-Living Fire on a sweltering week in the summer of '22, in a studio by the creek, in the heart of South Austin. They released the album the following year, debuted at the annual Stoner Jam event, and went on two short regional tours. That year also saw the band perform at Ripple Fest, and begin work on their forthcoming album. In 2024, they're planning more music, more tours, and their first international journey.
