As the lead singer and head songwriter for Charlotte, NC area super group ‘Remy St. Claire’ over a decade ago, Alexander is back with his solo debut “How The West Was Once”. This record has a more stripped down western-folk sound and mixes in some alt-country, indie-rock, Appalachian-folk, and even a little bit of older punk. It really is a special record in its raw delivery and emotional attachment.

Alexander has toured as far north as New York City playing at venues such as the Rockwood Music Hall, and as far south as Decatur, Georgia playing at Eddies Attic. He has also played in Nashville at the Listening Room Cafe. After living in Los Angeles for five years and playing venues such as the Hotel Cafe he moved back to Charlotte and became immersed once again in Charlotte’s indie-folk and alt-country scene.
