About KAARST

Since emerging in 2022, with the debut 7" "Prayers" and a string of live performances, including supporting some of most revered acts across genres (Perturbator, HEALTH, Striborg, YLVA), KAARST have continued to evolve and expand on their dark/electronic atmosphere over the past year, converging elements of post-punk, EBM & synth-wave while revelling in the spaciousness between. The ominous, doom-adiacent "Underneath The Blood Moon" and the recently released, contrasting 2-track "Soft Skin / Rains" have captivated audiences with a trek through heavy industrial sounds & soaring post-punk anthemic hooks. The duo of Sam Haven & Scott Curtis behind the "Crucible" independent label deliver a powerful live performance, culminating a multitude of influences, solidifying KAARST as one of Australia's most exciting new acts not to be missed.
