Sebastian Gahler

As an award-winning pianist, keyboardist and composer, Sebastian Gahler is a master of his craft. His melodic modern jazz pieces stick in your mind like well-told stories. He graduated with honors as a jazz pianist from the Cologne University of Music and his trio is an integral part of the German jazz scene: In this formation he has released three albums (Trust, Meditation, Down The Street feat. Wolfgang Engstfeld). With "Two Moons – inspired by the works of Haruki Murakami", he has now released his first concept album. Gahler cares a lot about a lively jazz scene in his hometown: He curates several concert series in Düsseldorf. Following the success of "Two Moons", Gahler is currently on tour with his quartet and also releasing the additional "Two Moons Analog Session EP", recorded on a Studer tape recorder.
