About Nanna Larsen & Ivan Pedersen
Nanna Larsen & Ivan Pedersen
2 Great Voices - 2 Genders - 2 Generations
A true legend with a Danish Grammy for best Singer, with over one mil. sold albums and a top position on the American Billboard, meets female singer-songwriter, with dozens of singles on Danish National Radio, three solo albums and several top three hits on the Japanese Billboard.
So what do this artist in common?
A common fondness for the American songwriting tradition Folk-pop and Country, and something as simple as a good melody. Title song of the album “Fortunate” has been in A-rotation for 20 weeks on Danish National Radio P5. First single "On The Other Side of Us", the duo performed live on the biggest morning show: TV2’s Go'morgen Danmark.
Now the full length album “Fortunate” were launched 20. okt 2023, and the vocal duo had a very successful tour i Denmark with band in okt/Nov 2023.
As a genre designation, we call it Melodic Americana parallel to the acoustic duo The Civil Wars mixed with the tone from Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' Raising Sands, - here expanded with an underlying, subdued, "Nordic tonality".
Here’s two great voices with a combined 86 years of experience in performing and recording. Two opposites, playing off each other and creating present lyrics between loss, love, and gratitude.
Audience:
"She is fantastic. I could sit for a week and listen to that woman" Lene Nystrøm (Aqua).
"He's fantastic, sings so well, so soulful and with nerve." Anita B. Sørensen
