About Paraphon
When Paraphon is on stage, there is no stopping them. Their 80s retro sound, performed live, casts a spell over everyone – creating a new world far removed from current global problems. With the EP YA Novel, which will be released in January 2024, Paraphon dedicate 5 songs to growing up – starting with young childhood memories in Single Child, continuing with the first school crush in Lovebomb and ending with a critical examination of social ideals in Plastic People.
Some of the best memories are of their performances at the Krach am Bach festival at midnight or in the iconic RAB bar in Trogen, when the audience danced along uninhibitedly non-stop and lost themselves in the duo’s electronic synth-pop world. Other festivals and clubs have long since been won over by this and have booked the duo for concerts at Musig uf de Gass, at the Grillentanz Festival or in the iconic Grabenhalle St. Gallen and at over 20 other gigs all over switzerland. However, Paraphon’s songs not only work live, but also inspire listeners on the radio and on streaming platforms. Songs such as „Lovebomb“ and „Child“ have already received airplay on Radio 3fach, Radio Munot, Radio Stadtfilter, RSI Rete Tre and many more.
