About TUN Torino Unlimited Noise
TUN: AKA “Torino Unlimited Noise”, is a powerhouse featuring some of the most exciting jazz musicians from Italy, that are pushing the boundaries of the genre by fusing techno beats with jazz, creating a fresh and unique new sound: Gianni Denitto (sax), Fabio Giachino (synth) and Mattia Barbieri (drums).
Following their first EP released in 2019 with Jazz-o-Tech, the ground- breaking Berlin/Milan-based record label, TUN released their first album “New door” in May 2021, followed by a remix EP in 2023 with techno producers Mattia Prete, Sunil Sharpe and Nørbak.
In 2023 TUN have also released 2 singles: Don't Fall feat. Dub Fx and Second Hand feat. the Berlin trumpet player Sebastian Studnitzky.
With DUB FX they have shared the Eurovision "Village Stage" in 2022, played live at Schwerin City Festival 2023 (Germany) and Alta Felicità Festival in 2023.
In April 2022 they went on a 5 dates tour to Germany: Jazzahead Bremen, Jazz Club Heidelberg, Treibsand Fest Lubeck, Pferdestall Bremerhaven, KulturHaus Pzorzheim. They also toured in Albania & Kosovo in December 2022 with the support of Italia Music Export and Italian Ministry of international cooperation.
They also have composed a song for the European Aquatics Championships, Rome, 2022.
In 2020, their track “Devourer of Senses” was co-produced with Tensal, one of the main exponents of European Techno music and released in the compilation ‘This is Techno Jazz’.
Other important international concerts : Jazz Re:found, JazzMi, JazzAhead Bremen, Gate of Tehran (Iran), Edinburgh Jazz Festival, Jazz Rallye Luxembourg, Sichtfeld Openair Svizzera, Internet Festival Pisa, Tunel Club Tirana, Chiasso Jazz Festival, Torino Film Festival, Casa Del Jazz Rome, Chiasso Jazz.
