About Manifest West
Manifest West is a unique alternative/indie rock band hailing from Champaign, Illinois. Led by guitarist, lead songwriter, and vocalist Cade Whitt, Manifest West has truly embarked on a musical journey. The band, consisting of Nick Riley on rhythm guitar, Coggan Banerian on drums, and bass player Roan O’Brien, recorded all seven tracks of their debut EP “Wright St.” in the private studio of Cade’s indie label, McNasty Records.
While writing their sophomore EP, the band began working with keys player Zane Krile. The EP “I Just Feel Nothing at All” was released on January 26th, 2024. Notably, this EP marks somewhat of a transition for the band - the EP is laden with several different styles of music, including huge alt-rock power anthems, an acoustic song, an ambient semi-electronic song, and even a song in which the lyrical delivery is reminiscent of spoken-word. Their versatility is celebrated by fans, especially when considering the bands ability to incorporate new elements into their songs, while still remaining true to their original sound.
The band is also known for their wild on-stage antics, and consistently play live shows throughout the year. From guitar smashes, to wardrobe changes, to chantable fan-favorites, the band captivates audiences and are sure to leave a smile on their face after a show.
