About Reason To Leave
Reason To Leave hails from the North West of England and takes it’s influence from 90s Skate Punk, 80s Hardcore and Crossover Thrash with a contemporary spin, drip fed on Beavis and Butthead, P-Rock TV, grainy VHS skate vids and cheap tinnies.
Their brand of no nonsense breakneck-speed riffs, socially conscious lyrics and relentless, pounding rhythms gained them attention, before a well received first EP, ‘Waste Of Our Time’ made them staples on the UK’s live circuit.
A busy 2023, with increasingly high profile support slots, headline shows and festival appearances in support of of their sophomore effort, ‘Rise and Grind’ (out now through Horn and Hoof Records), has cemented the four piece’s reputation as a high octane live experience and a passionate voice for positive change within the scene and beyond.
The band are currently bunkered down, writing for their debut album, with a few carefully chosen shows over the Winter months to road-test new material in consideration for the record.
