About Kings & Pills
Formed in late 2022 by lead singer Anais Vacariu and drummer Isac Strand, Kings & Pills is a Berlin-based rock band consisting of members aged between 20 and 22, from Romania, Iceland, Sweden, Finland and Germany. The band gained attention with their debut EP "Chemical Meltdown", which introduced the band's signature sound of catchy hooks, loud guitars and angsty vocals.
Now with their newly released singles, they are working towards releasing an album circling around a whole new concept melodically and visually. The lyrics and story have changed since their debut EP, and have matured to a new point of view of the world. Kings and Pills like to think of the narrator of their songs as a constantly evolving character, stepping through themes of misogyny, abuse of power, destruction of the earth, consumerism and greed
