About Stone Sober
If you're a fan of The White Stripes' signature riffs and the wild energy of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, you're going to love what Stone Sober brings to the table!
This is a Budapest based Psychedelic Garage Rock duo, that was formed in 2021. The formation consists of a cheeky drummer girl called Cseni Kubik, who also plays the electric organ and sings some songs and the lead guitarist frontman is György Urbán, who plays killer riffs and uses tons of delay and distortion on his vocal!
Stone Sober has proved it’s export ready status when the band was nominated for HEMI MUSIC AWARD in 2023, and played several times in Slovakia, in the Czech Republic and in Austria. They also performed at the greatest venues in Hungary, like A38, House of Hungarian Music, Dürer Kert, Akvárium Klub, etc.
In 2023 the band has released it’s first LP, called Sainted Mash. To do a favor to the collectors, and vintage lovers, the album was released on cassette as well.
