About Truism
Truism is a fresh metal act, yet consisting of musicians well established on the Polish extreme music scene. Fronted by singer/guitarist Lukasz „Dzvon” Cyndzer, known from domestic thrash metal legends - Acid Drinkers, followed by Maciek Morawski (Veal), Adam "Wodzu" Hajdasz (Prawda) and Jeremiasz "Jerry" Baum (The Materia).
The band is in the middle of producing their debut LP, which is already considered as one of the most anticipated metal debuts. 9 recorded tracks pay homage to such classics as Gojira, Decapitated or Tool. The album will be mixed by Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, Suicide Silence, Heaven Shall Burn, etc.). Its release is scheduled for 2024.
In the meantime the band has launched their Quarantine Sessions (to be collected on EP titled "Insanitarium"), where they reveal their main inspirations and the shape of things yet to come.
