About RÜ
RÜ is a 21-year-old songwriter and artist from Norway known for her raspy voice and edgy and mysterious R&B sound. In March 2023, RÜ introduced herself with her debut single ZENsations. In May, she released her first EP, A Feminist March, shortly before being invited to perform her first concerts at Camp Øya (the Øya Festival new talent concerts) and Oslo Pride's opening show in Oslo. Her third single was Clone Wars featuring American bass phenomenon MonoNeon.
The artist and songwriter RÜ grew up on the Norwegian West Coast. She draws inspiration from older jazz, new-age R&B, and hip-hop. Since September 2022, she has worked intensively in a studio in Oslo to create her debut album. The latest single, DOMe, is one of the 11 tracks on the debut album "La Petite Princesse," that was released digitally and on LP on Friday, October 20th 2023. 23rd November 2023 she opened for Sigrid at her concert in Maritim Hall, Haugesund, and in February 2024 she will have two concerts at Trondheim Calling.
