The Laughing Chimes

Formed by brothers Evan and Quinn Seurkamp, southeastern Ohio band The Laughing Chimes calls on the bright jangle of multiple generations of college rock and indie pop for their sweetly melodic tunes. Echoes of the best of the Flying Nun roster met with R.E.M.-informed vocal harmonies on their 2021 album In This Town, and the band began working with Slumberland for the release of their 2022 EP Zoo Avenue. The band’s latest material sees them adopting darker post punk sounds to bloom a new vein of southern gothic infused dream pop.
