Progressive Metal band EcSovereign met at the dorms of Berklee College of Music their first year. Vocalist Jack Villhard brought the band together playing D&D, and during the pandemic, they had the idea to turn Jack's original D&D story into a concept album. From there the idea spiraled into a whole world of stories as the band worked on the music that would become Ouroboros.

After years of work, Act I is complete. Ethereal Fate will introduce you to the band's unique style, taking tropes of the Progressive concept albums of the past and bringing the story telling more into the forefront. It will also introduce you to their cast of characters and their world of Gods, monsters, and magic, as their team of script writers, composers, and voice actors bring you deeper into the story.

The music is as technical as anything, taking heavy influence from Progressive Metal giants like Dream Theater, Haken, Tool, and Symphony X. The album is a whirlwind of time signatures and musical styles, jumping from djent to jazz, heavy metal to honky-tonk. Between their unique brand of story telling, EcSovereign carries on the progressive torch faithfully.
