Lyons Lane

Lyons Lane is building a world of alternative music with a cinematic sense of character and inviting us all to live in it. Midcentury Americana courses through a modern alternative sound, where vintage guitars, pop-like melodies and infectious rhythms meet the glamour of old Hollywood and the spirit of a bygone era. There’s a natural theatricality to the music and live presence of Lyons Lane…equal parts romance, danger, wit and spectacle. The result is vintage without nostalgia, contemporary without abandoning the past.
Lyons Lane first broke through with its reimagining of “Love Potion No. 9,” which went viral across Instagram and Facebook and introduced the sound to millions of listeners. What began as a single performance video grew into a rapidly expanding audience, with fanmade accounts, artwork and letters appearing alongside the nearly two million Spotify streams. The momentum has since carried Lyons Lane from the dive bars and clubs of Metro Detroit to support slots at Detroit’s legendary Fillmore Theatre, the national stage at Arts Beats & Eats, and a sold-out hometown headline at the historic Magic Bag Theatre.
Now, Lyons Lane enters its next chapter with You’ll Talk About It!, the band’s debut EP. Recorded over two years at Rustbelt Studios with producer Jake Halkey, the EP explores love, loss, obsession and ego through songs that balance humor and vulnerability with an unmistakable sense of style.
You’ll Talk About It! is the first full introduction to Lyons Lane: an act drawing from the past without living in it, bringing midcentury flair and old Hollywood swagger into the alternative landscape of today.
