About Lugosi Dani
The name Dani Lugosi (Polytrip, Nirvana Acoustic) may sound familiar to music consumers and concert-goers alike, as he brings his most intimate songs to the audience in his Hungarian-language solo project. "This project is my personal little world that I've been carrying inside me since childhood: a map of all my happiness, my disappointments, all the processes that go on inside me. I am writing the lyrics in Hungarian, because I can only express these things in my mother tongue, as I have drawn them in my imagination."
He records, arranges and post-produces his songs alone. His debut single 'Altató', which was released with a music video, was in the rotation of Petőfi Radio. Altató was followed by 'Mosolygó' and then 'Szitakötő', recorded with Vilko Takács. In autumn 2023, he released his first album, 'Mindent a semmiből', which was presented at Turbina. The album is an exhibition of eight tracks with many different pieces. The eight songs include classical, pop-rock, electronic dub mixed with contemporary jazz elements, grunge, synthwave, hip-hop, rap and trap. The album features Márton Agócs (aurevoir.) Kata Monostori (Pablo and the Escobars) and one of the Hungarian music industry's most famous roadie Bygyó, in addition to the aforementioned Vilkó Takács.
