About Velvet Trip
Velvet Trip is the psychedelic music project of Zeppelin Hamilton and Clayton Allen,
conceived and imagined on Gadigal Country, Sydney.
Throughout 2021-2023 they notably performed at the opera house alongside Wiradjuri poet Jazz Money, featured on the ABC program ‘Going Country’ with Emily Wurramara, and supported Parcels on a sold-out theatre tour around Australia.
Velvet Trip has released four singles from their forthcoming album, all of which garnered support from Triple J, editorial support on Apple Music/Spotify, and made #1 on the AIR charts.
They have recently been featured in The NY Times (T Mag), RUSSH, NME Australia, and were signed to Mushroom Groups First Nations Pathway Program to be mentored by Mo’Ju and Tasmin Keith.
Written and produced within the confines of Hamilton's laptop and performed live with interchanging members - VT is an ever-evolving entity moving in unexpected directions.
