Long Read

The Seattle-based boys of Long Read first came together from across the country as reluctant iconoclasts in the Texas countryside, cross-pollinating influences and abilities in that strange soil through joyful friendships and musical projects before initiating a slow and steady migration to the PNW.

In what began as an opportunity for close friends to connect and create, regular basement jams became regular practices, invariably preceded by a grill session, rain or shine. The resulting songs reflect resurrection from sorrow; rounding the corner to find peace, new love, or the same slow-burning ontological crises.

Whether drawn from crate diggings or pop nuggets in plain sight, Long Read collages their tunes from influences across decades of the indie rock and pop, R&B grooves, and of course their complicated love of their southern roots.
