About CURSER
Herbie Jones (vocals/guitar), Alex Lambert (bass) & Bleu Wright (drums) formed CURSER in 2019. Second guitarist Peter Schünemann joined in January 2023.
Wielding dynamic guitars, visceral vocals and a thumping rhythm section, their musical onslaught is intense and passionate - soaked with blood, sweat and other bodily fluids. CURSER have a distinctly individual flair with their songwriting, drawing on influences from ‘90s alternative and a plethora of inspirations that develop their colourful palette.
In September 2021 the band presented their first single ‘So It Seems’ on streaming platforms, with a further 3 singles coming out after working with producer George Apsion, founder of KORE Studios.
Also recorded at KORE, the recent 4-track EP ‘Point Of No Return’ contains firm audience favourites ‘Partisan’ (accompanied by a stunning music video created by Portugal-based artist Vince Talbot) and ‘Nobody Knows’.
CURSER have been main support for the bands Shame and Warmduscher, and have shared the stage with other acts such as Automotion, Fat Dog and Sam Akpro.
"Fresh, exciting, different, great style, unique. Lots of things to come from them I’m quite sure…”
- Chris Redjam, Midweek Alternative Show on AWRadio
CURSER are currently unsigned and 100% self-funded.
