About Matthew Ryan
Matthew Ryan is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Elmendorf, Texas. When he’s not performing and writing music, he’s working as a welding artist in Natalia, Texas. His fascination for creating metal art began after he hung up his football cleats and attended South Texas Vocational Technical Institute to become a certified welder. Prior to his certification, the 6'4" Ryan was a high school All-State football defensive end at Holy Cross in San Antonio, and played a stint of college football on a scholarship in California until injuries forced his early retirement. Matthew's name still hangs on the gym wall at his High School Alma mater to this very day.
Matthew's debut single, “Downin' Alcohol” reached the Top 50 in the Texas Charts. His newest single, "Buzzin' On Your Love" is now active and gaining spin momentum at Radio and Streaming platforms. Check back often for tour dates, etc.
