Jaslyn Loftin

Jaslyn Loftin (J.Lyn) is a singer/songwriter based in Honolulu, Hawai'i, writing music for various artists and film/TV. As a singer, she has played in world-renown venues such as the Troubadour in Los Angeles and the Blue Note Hawaii in Waikiki with ukulele virtuoso, Jake Shimabukuro. J.Lyn was a co-writer for the debut EP of alternative-pop band, Kennedy Taylor & the Electric Pancakes, which was nominated for “Alternative Album of the Year” at the 2022 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards. Her breakthrough project was penning the EDM hit, “Make Me Forget,” by Chinese-Pop Singer, Ann-E1, reaching #23 on the Cloudmusic Soaring Chart and #6 on China’s Global Song Chart. Within the past few years, J.Lyn has partnered with TikTok, the Recording Academy, Make Music Hawai’i, Henry Kapono Foundation as an “On the Rise” musician, and Creative Lab Hawai’i for the 2023 music immersive. When she is not writing music, she is teaching Songwriting and Music Theory at Honolulu Community College for the Music and Entertainment Learning Experience (MELE) program.
