About Sasha Petri
Sasha Petri is the stage name of Ukrainian artist and musician Oleksandr Petryshchenko. Born in the village of Vovchkiv, Kyiv region, his artistic journey began during his university years. Overcoming challenges in childhood due to a disability, Sasha strengthened his resilience, using music as a way to express his inner world. After fleeing Ukraine in 2022 because of the war, he started sharing his music with the public in 2023, performing on the ukulele and MIDI keyboard.
His music is deeply personal, reflecting his romantic and emotional perspective. Sasha aims to inspire people with themes of love and life’s beauty. He recently began learning the piano, preparing new compositions. His creative works also include poetry, which he presents through his podcast and live concerts, notably in Valencia.
