Born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN, ItzSHLZ's journey with music began early, as he found solace in school and church choirs, even creating melodies at home with various instruments. As a young dreamer, he watched BET shows like Rap City and 106&Park, envisioning himself on those stages one day. It wasn't until after a poignant moment in his life, the passing of his sister "Lakia Lasha Dixie," that ItzSHLZ channeled his passion into more than just a hobby.

Fuelled by a desire to hear his tunes backdrop emotional scenes in movies, ItzSHLZ discovered his knack for songwriting across diverse genres while staying true to his authentic self. Over the years, his dedication to refining his craft paid off, branding him as a unique artist with a captivating sound and versatility that sets him apart.

ItzSHLZ's debut album "Pain N Lyrics," previously released under the name Shellz, showcased an array of vibes and emotions, with each track resonating through his powerful delivery. Yet, his talent extended beyond the recording studio, as his live performances left audiences echoing the question: "Who is ItzSHLZ and Where has he been?"
