Never a stranger to bending strings and stretching the possibilities of live performances, Rio , the multi-instrumentalist, derives energy through precisely delivered vocals, impeccable fret work and sincere yet powerful stage presence.
Learning piano at age 5, Rio began his passionate pursuit of performing while always remaining the student of the art of music. His love for creating music ensures he will never stop his journey of new and innovative vessels to please your ears.
In later years taking queues from Elvis, ABBA, Michael Jackson and Hendrix and Van Halen, and refining with a blend of Dylan, Beethoven, Petty and REK.
No stranger to the music business, founding member of “The Washers” and “Copper Chief” Rio has had more than his share of stages and Spotlights. Finding success through his own brand of stylistic delivery yet grounded enough to complete any ensemble he accompanies,
Rio brings flair, flavor, and finesse with each and every performance. With a resume of support including: Aaron Stephens, Haley Cole, Paul Cauthen, The Damn Quails, Midnight River Choir, Jade Marie Patek, Bart Crow, as well as a pivotal role as a “Sequestered Songwriter”, Rio has solidified his place as well as the respect of his peers in the industry.
