About HESKEN
HESKEN
HESKEN is a Dutch metal band from Zwolle known for their uncompromising sound and
explosive live shows. Blending death metal aggression with progressive ambition, their
music channels the intensity of Opeth, Gojira, Death, and Tool into a fierce, groove-driven
and avant-garde assault. After sharing stages with bands like Bloodbath, Aephanemer, and
Cryptosis, and releasing their acclaimed debut ‘Architect of Chaos’ (2024), HESKEN has
firmly established itself as a rising force in the Dutch metal scene. Their latest single,
‘NEWSPEAK’, marks a bold new chapter: focused, fearless, and relentlessly powerful.
HESKEN will release their new album in the fall of 2026. This will be the next step towards
another fantastic album with its own hard-hitting progressive sound.
Line-up HESKEN:
Harmen Verheij : Vocals / Guitar
Sven Evertse : Guitar
Marijn van Vilsteren : Bass Guitar
Jelle Boukes : Drums

What fans are saying
I love this band. Genuinely don't understand why they're not more popular. Good music, great vocals and even greater guys. I met the band members and they are so nice. I'd recommend going to HESKEN for everyone.
