Dhemo (pronounced “demo”) is a Richmond, VA-based artist whose sound spans from dream-like indie ballads to upbeat, funk-infused grooves. It’s an indie rock project that blends seamlessly through jazz and psychedelic sounds. The tight, dynamic live band features a locked-in bass and drum section, while the jazz-influenced guitar weaves between lead and rhythm, complemented by the warm, atmospheric chords of the synth. Two backup vocalists add depth to the main singer’s voice, creating a rich sonic landscape that draws listeners in with emotional melodies and vulnerable lyricism.
