According to her father Jamie, she has been singing since she could talk. Katie says her love for music comes from her father’s love for it. Her father would sing practically everything to her as a child, from “good morning songs” to helping her memorize important numbers and phrases with songs. She exchanged weekends staying between her mom’s and dad’s houses.
